What Coaching Is Meant to Do
Coaching is a space for you to:
Think more clearly and intentionally
Explore challenges or opportunities from new angles
Make decisions with greater confidence and self-awareness
Move forward in ways that feel sustainable and aligned with who you are
That may look like action. Or sometimes it may look like insight. Or it may be a blend of both.
Sometimes, in addition to coaching, I may draw on my professional experience, share relevant frameworks or tools, and provide perspective. Any guidance offered is based on your choice and autonomy in the coaching relationship.
To keep expectations clear:
I won’t provide consulting, specific training to improve performance, direction or HR advice—even though that’s my background
I’m not acting as a therapist or counsellor, as this is beyond my professional scope
Our Partnership: How We Show Up
Me
My coaching style is grounded in openness, curiosity, empathy, and deep listening.
In practice, that means I:
Listen deeply—not only to your words, but to what may sit underneath them
Ask thoughtful, sometimes challenging questions
Create space for reflection
Partner with you to stay focused on what matters most to you.
I work in alignment with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) core competencies and ethical guidelines
You
Coaching is most valuable when you:
Show up honestly—even when things feel uncertain or unfinished
Stay open to new perspectives and questions that may challenge you
Take ownership of your learning and next steps
There’s no expectation that you come with clarity and answers – just a willingness to explore and engage in a creative learning process.
